Milano-Cortina 2026: Culture Takes its Place Alongside Sport

On the occasion of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, 24 ORE Cultura – Gruppo Il Sole 24 ORE is participating in the Cultural Olympics of the Municipality of Milan with the exhibition “I Macchiaioli”, a project that introduces the international public to one of the most significant currents in 19th‑century Italian art.
 

Alongside the exhibition, the experience is extended through an innovative system of geolocalised audio stories, created in collaboration with Civita Arte e Musei, Audio Tales and ArtUp: 16 original contents that are automatically activated in the rooms, accessible via QR code or app, to accompany visitors with an immersive and continuous listening experience.
 

The project is further expanded with “I Macchiaioli – Audio racconto di una mostra” (The Macchiaioli – Audio story of an exhibition), an original podcast series produced by 24Ore Podcast in collaboration with Radio 24. Twelve episodes intertwining history, art and storytelling, designed to be enjoyed before, during and after the visit, on the website, app and major audio platforms.
 

This initiative integrates exhibition, technology and storytelling, enhancing the cultural languages of the Il Sole 24 ORE Group in a contemporary key.
